About
I have worked as a ceramics specialist for the Museum of London for over 33 years, with a particular interest in medieval and later pottery and clay tobacco pipes. As a sessional lecturer for Birkbeck College over the past 10 years I have taught numerous courses on post-excavation procedures and archaeological publication. Since 2009 I have also taught a course on post-excavation for Hendon and District Archaeological Society in north London. I served as Assistant Editor and then Co-Editor of Medieval Ceramics for 10 years, and am currently Joint Editor of Post-Medieval Archaeology.
